What is REAL™ Eyewash Preservative used for?
REAL™ eyewash preservative is designed to keep your emergency eyewash stations clean, safe, and ready for use. It prevents bacterial growth and contamination, ensuring the water remains pure and compliant with safety standards.
How often should I replace the eyewash solution?
Every three to four months the emergency station should be drained and refilled with new potable water and a fresh 8oz bottle of preservative.
How much formula should I use per tank?
The entire 8oz bottle is appropriate for any ANSI approved tank
Is the formula compliant and safe?
The formulation and manufacturing facilities are all best in class within the industry. We have worked with our manufacturing partners to build out the manufacturing capacity to bring product to market and at a fair value price point.
Can I use tap water with the formula?
Yes. Local tap water is suitable for mixing with our formula. All US tap water falls under the jurisdiction of the EPA and so long as it is safe for drinking, it will be safe for this purpose.
For best practice, ensure you run the water source for four to five minutes before hand to ensure that any of the water which may have been stuck in the 'dead leg' of the plumbing goes down the drain. It is in those dead leg parts of the plumbing network where bad things proliferate. R
What is the shelf life of the unopened bottle?
3 Years from the date of manufacturing. It is safe to assume that you will receive a bottle with at least 24 months of shelf life remaining.
